Description
The Norrd Nexus D10 is a professional 10.1-inch Android touchscreen made for dedicated control applications, smart building interfaces, room control, AV control, access interfaces, and other fixed-use installations.
Unlike standard consumer tablets, the Nexus D10 is designed for permanent powered operation. It can be powered via PoE 48V IEEE 802.3af or 12V/24V DC, and it has no internal battery, reducing the long-term risks associated with continuously charging battery-based tablets, such as battery aging or swelling.
For professional app deployment, the Nexus D10 supports hiding the Android menu/navigation bar and can be configured with a fixed startup app for native app usage. This allows the screen to operate as a dedicated control panel where the user cannot easily exit the assigned application. Reverting this setting requires connection to a computer, making it suitable for controlled installations.
The unit features a 10.1-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen, metal housing, glass front panel, Ethernet with PoE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth BLE 5.2, RS485, USB Type-C, TF card slot, built-in microphone, and speaker. The backbox is designed to fit a standard 86 x 86 wall box, allowing clean and secure wall-mounted or in-wall installation.
