Dual-input BYOD HDBaseT 3.0 Extender

Norrd NX3-324 is a premium HDBaseT® 3.0 extender built for modern BYOD meeting rooms where users bring both USB-C and HDMI devices. The transmitter provides dual inputs — USB-C (DP Alt Mode) and HDMI — with automatic or manual switching, so the room is always ready for whichever laptop shows up. It transports full-bandwidth 18 Gbps video up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 with HDR pass-through over a single CAT6A/7 cable, delivering crisp, accurate images even across long runs. NX3-324 is also a complete room-integration backbone. Alongside video it extends USB 2.0 for cameras and peripherals, and supports bi-directional IR and RS-232 for seamless control-system integration. Both ends include analog audio de-embedding for simple connection to local speakers or assistive audio systems, and the receiver can downscale 4K to 1080p when needed for legacy displays. Installers get maximum flexibility with bidirectional 24V PoC: you can power the system from the TX or RX side depending on where power is available. For USB-C BYOD, powering the transmitter enables up to 60W laptop charging through the USB-C input — keeping the table clean with one cable for video, USB, and power. With long-reach performance (up to 100 m at 4K) and a compact metal chassis, NX3-324 is a robust single-cable solution for high-end conference rooms, classrooms, and collaboration spaces.
